Latina History Day New York
HOPE hosted the inaugural Latina History Day in New York City in 2021 to celebrate Latinas’ remarkable achievements and invaluable contributions to the state and nation. In 2022, HOPE gained the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the State Legislature, who both proclaimed Latina History Day in the state.
Through Latina History Day – New York, HOPE aims to bolster Latina power in the state. New York has a rich and vibrant history of Latina leadership, and HOPE is committed to amplifying this narrative and expanding its leadership training programs to grow the Latina leadership pipeline.

Latina Leadership in New York Government Report
HOPE is proud to unveil its Latina Leadership in New York Government Report. The report analyzes more than 6,000 elected leaders at federal, state, county, and municipal levels, highlighting the status of Latina political representation across New York.
Economic Status of Latinas in NY Fact Sheet
HOPE updated national, state, and regional indicators on how Latinas in New York State are faring economically. These indicators include data on population changes, and economic and educational progress.
