The Anniversary Awards Dinner is our annual gala recognizing the commitment of HOPE’s community partners and supporters. The support that HOPE receives from this fundraising event sustains our leadership programs and events, advocacy efforts, and influential research as we work to build political and economic power among Latinas all across the United States.

The silent auction offers a curated selection of unique items and experiences, with all proceeds supporting HOPE’s programs and initiatives. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate, bid on special items, and make a meaningful contribution to our mission.

Angela Padilla | Spirit of HOPE

President, FundaMental Change

Angela Padilla is a passionate mental health advocate. Angela’s commitment is rooted in her personal experience with mental health. For nearly forty years, Angela’s mother has lived with bipolar and schizoaffective disorders. This inspired Angela to earn a bachelors degree in Psychology, and a masters degree in Public Administration (MPA), with an emphasis on health administration, from California State University Northridge and to incorporate FundaMental Change.

As part of her advocacy, Angela publicly shares her unique perspectives and experiences with a diverse range of audiences by speaking at schools, to community organizations, and at special events. Before establishing FundaMental Change, Angela worked as an Assistant Vice President/LR Manager for Bank of America.

Angela was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She graduated from Canoga Park High School, earned an Associate’s degree from Los Angeles Pierce College and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from California State University Northridge. Angela lives in the San Fernando Valley with her husband and their three children.
