Natasha Somoza Manzanares, Future Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Candidate | Expected Spring 2027
Natasha Somoza Manzanares graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Art. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University, where she is dedicated to advancing trauma informed care and holistic healing practices. Natasha works as a Behavioral Health Technician at Sandstone Care in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore area, supporting individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges. As a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), she integrates mindfulness, movement, and somatic practices into her therapeutic approach, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional mental health care and alternative healing modalities.

Valerie Mondragon, Future Law Student | Aspiring Space Law & Policy Expert
Double Major in Astrophysics and Political Science | Expected Spring 2028
Valerie Mondragon is a first-generation Mexican student from Littlerock, CA, studying astrophysics and political science at UC Berkeley. She actively participates in Model United Nations, holds leadership roles in ASUC, and aspires to attend law school to specialize in space law and policy. Passionate about promoting diversity in STEM, Valerie seeks to bridge the gap between science, policy, and technology to create equitable regulations for space exploration and support underrepresented communities in these fields.

Ayxa Agraz, Future Judge
Double Major in Political Science & Spanish | Expected May 2026
Ayxa Agraz, a first-generation college student at California Lutheran University, is an honors student double majoring in Political Science and Spanish with a minor in Legal Studies. Motivated by the systemic injustices experienced by marginalized communities, Ayxa aspires to pursue a career in law with the goal of becoming a lawyer. Her long-term ambition is to serve as a judge, working to ensure that the legal system serves as an instrument of justice, healing, and societal progress for all individuals

Samantha Alvarez Chavarria is a junior double majoring in Political Science and Women’s Studies. Passionate about advocacy, Samantha has served through various organizations at California State University, Dominguez Hills in order to promote student advocacy. They are committed to legislative engagement and student empowerment, creating a lasting impact on their community.

Lusangelis Ramos, Future Global Health Policymaker
Major in Neuroscience & Global Health Studies Certificate | Expected May 2025
Lusangelis Ramos is a senior Neuroscience major and Global Health Scholar at Yale University. She is from Brooklyn, New York but was born around Venezuela’s beautiful, green Andes mountains. As a firstgeneration, low-income, queer, disabled, immigrant Latina, she is proud of the communities she belongs to. She is passionate about migrant, mental, and reproductive health, public health policy, and health disparities among marginalized communities. Lusangelis hopes to work internationally and collaborate with others as a global health policymaker
