The Communications Coordinator is responsible for executing HAC’s core communications across digital platforms with accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment. This role supports policy advocacy, member engagement, fundraising, and organizational visibility by ensuring HAC’s work is communicated clearly and reliably to members, partners, and the public. This position requires strong writing skills, disciplined project management, and the ability to collaborate across teams. The Communications Coordinator must be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced advocacy environment.

This internship is a structured learning experience designed to provide students with exposure to how a philanthropic foundation manages its investment functions. Interns will work closely under the guidance and supervision of CCF staff, consistent with CCF’s Internship Policy, which emphasizes that intern training must primarily benefit the intern, with assignments crafted to support learning and professional development. This is an opportunity to observe and participate in real-world processes in a supportive environment—not to perform duties of regular employees. Interns will be coached, supervised, and given meaningful experiences to enhance their understanding of nonprofit investment management.

The Cerritos College Foundation Senior Development Officer is responsible for cultivating, solicitating and stewarding individuals, corporations, foundations and other organizations, with a primary focus on five-to-seven-figure gifts. The Senior Development Officer reports to the Foundation Executive Director and is a full-time, campus-based position with frequent travel, and evening and weekend hours.
